I've been a bit MIA recently. We had an unexpected call recently regarding the house we had built in Washington. Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of our control, we will not be moving into that house. This sent us into a panic to find a place to live since we are suppose to be there in just a few weeks. Nothing like having 4 kids, living in an empty house with your house in crates, on a boat, somewhere in the pacific, about to move to a different state, across the ocean and having no home to go to. Talk about stress!
But, all things happen for a reason. I truly believe this, especially after the last 2 weeks. We lost one house, but gained another house that has GORGEOUS views of Seattle and the Puget Sound. Best of all, I WILL HAVE A STUDIO!!!!!
I am so excited about this part. I love working in a studio, though that may be hard to believe since most of work is at the beach. Living in Hawaii, it's hard to NOT work at the beach! Having the studio will allow me to expand my range of services I am able to offer to the families of the Puget Sound area. It will also allow for in-person viewing of your proofs so you can see the actual print before ordering it. Online ordering is wonderful and very useful, especially for its convenience, but to see your actual images IN PRINT, 10x better in my opinion.
Once we are moved and settled in, I'll share pictures of our studio in progress. It will take a bit of time to get it just how I want it. I hope you all are as excited as I am!
Here are just a few pics of the house.

{the future studio. excuse my digital drawings and mispelling. The red blobs are chairs and the thing in the middle will be a coffee table!}
Beautiful house, Erika! The area is beautiful and I am sure you will capture it amazingly. Best wishes on your move and new home!
